What this site is
polybuzz-ai.io is the home of the PolyBuzz platform: a free AI companion chat aimed at adults, tuned for roleplay and open-ended conversation rather than assistant-style Q&A. The site itself is both the product and the editorial home for reviews, guides, and technical explanations of how the platform works under the surface.
The core promise is straightforward: no login wall, no card, no daily message caps on the free tier, and no compliance paragraph interrupting your scene. Every companion is a fictional AI persona depicted as an adult, and access is age-gated at 18+.
What we cover
The editorial pages on this site fall into three groups:
- Product overviews: the main homepage, along with focused guides on the PolyBuzz AI Chat engine, the PolyBuzz web app, and how the PolyBuzz login flow is designed to stay out of your way.
- Comparisons: honest side-by-side write-ups against other adult chat platforms and mainstream AI assistants. The PolyBuzz alternative guide covers the migration path for people coming over from elsewhere.
- Editorial transparency: the pages you're reading now, which are how we review, how the editorial process works, and the author profile for the person writing most of it.
Who's behind it
The site is edited by Melissa Blake, senior editor covering AI companion platforms. Melissa has been reviewing consumer AI products since 2022, with hands-on experience across 40+ platforms in the category. She is based in Amsterdam and holds a background in media studies from the University of Amsterdam.
Every editorial page on polybuzz-ai.io is written or fact-checked by Melissa. The review methodology is documented in full on the methodology page, and our position on affiliate relationships, corrections, and editorial independence is on the editorial policy page.
Our position on affiliate relationships
polybuzz-ai.io does use affiliate links, and we're upfront about it: when you click a CTA that leads to the PolyBuzz product, the site earns a commission on qualifying signups. This is disclosed here, on the editorial policy page, and where relevant on individual reviews. Affiliate revenue does not influence which products get positive coverage or the ranking they receive in comparisons. Reviews of platforms we don't have affiliate relationships with are held to exactly the same editorial standard as ones we do.
